| Which milk can Yorkies have? I would like to give a dairy free milk - i have tried almond, coconut, hazelnut and oat for myself and wonder if any of these can be given to an adult Yorkie. Any advice please? |

| Just kinda curious why? I give Callie a goats milk supplement from Honest Kitchen that has probiotics in it and it has made her poo more regular and no gas.

| I agree with the goats milk. Mine drink that as an afternoon snack.

| A lot of these have added sweeteners, thickeners, and stabilizers, some of which could be toxic to dogs. Go with something natural, like goat's milk. |

Is there a specific reason you want to give some?

| The main reason I wouldn't give milk from a cow to a dog (or cat) is bc most are lactose intolerant...but dogs & cats can digest goat's milk.

| I have no idea! But like you mentioned, I'd be concerned about the added sugars & all the other stuff they add to it. To be honest, it's not even the best healthiest thing for people.

| You know, I tried that once because I ran out of goat milk. They all vomited. So I wouldn't advise it.
