| Allerderm for Dry Skin I'm so excited about this product I've been using for the past 6 weeks on Daisy. Daisy is a dog w/ allergies and atopy and her skin and coat have never been that great. Recently, her dermatologist recommended Allerderm Spot on treatment for small dogs. It goes on the skin from neck to tail as a topical preparation. It is topical lipids and is like "dog moisturizer" so it protects the skin. Daisy went from being dry, flaking and scaly to having a lush silky type of coat and supple moist skin! I've shared the news of this product with a couple of people here already but now that I've been using it for a while, I'm hooked! It's available on Amazon or through vets. I was thinking about some members whose dogs are like Daisy that might be interested so I wanted to share!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have been using this based upon your recommendation to Crystal - and it's now been a month. I am LOVING it! It not only helps support the skin issues, but for Marcel it's making his coat soft and more silky - which is amazing given his coat is so fine, a bit drier, and VERY prone to tangling due to texture. Allerderm really does amazing things for his coat. I get mine on ebay for about $21, but saw it on Amazon for a good price too. GREAT STUFF, thanks for discovering it and sharing about it!

| Mine arrived today but I didn't get a chance to use it on Max yet. I'm anxious to do so!

| When you say "neck to tail" do you mean all over the body or just the top/backside? I have one very itchy yorkie and another that is somewhat itchy. I just want to be sure to apply it correctly since with two needing to use it, I will need to be frugal but correct in application. |

| So how often do you apply? Since one of the six applications takes care of your two pups, I'm thinking it won't last very long if you use it daily.... |

| OK I'm sold...just placed an order. Going to try this on George! His hair and skin are dry lately....this always happens when he has periods of increased itching. I have to bathe him 2 - 3 times/week with his shampoo and he so hates it. Maybe this will help cut the baths down to once/week. I surely hope so.

| I'm on the second week of a half dose for daisy and I think she did better on the full. She's 7 or 7.5 lbs.

| So you don't then spread it all over the body... Just down the back. Do you rub it in? I have ordered it so hopefully it has directions. |

| You do not rub it in. You squeeze it from the collar to the tail along the top line of the dog. I think there are instructions. I just love this product!
