| Getting tested for Diabetes Zoey is getting tested for diabetes next week. She's been peeing a lot, some days she seems really happy and energetic, and other days she just sleeps and seems really depressed. She doesn't drink a lot, but when she starts to drink she will drink and drink and drink. She also has a loose tooth, so I need to make her an appointment to get that taken care of. First, I need to make sure she doesn't have diabetes. If she does, will it be riskier to perform the dental procedure on her? Do anyone of you have a dog with diabetes? What was the cost to test them for it? What is the cost of the medicine?

| Praying for Zoey that the test results bring good news. MauiGirl, Sandy, is currently treating one of her girls for diabetes. Here is her thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...-diabetes.html

| Bloodwork and a urinalysis will run $70-$170 depending on what exactly the vet tests for and their pricing. There are many things that could cause this, not just diabetes.
