hairless ears My 4 month old Yorkie girl has lost all the hair on the back of her ears. She grows it on the inside just not the outside. Her ears are always so cold because of this. She does not scratch or rub on them. Her ears have been up for about a month and a half. Has anyone ever heard of this? or know what to do to get it to grow back. My vet is clueless. She also has no hair on her stubby tail but you can't tell that much cuz her back hair covers it. Please help somebody! Jeanne

Has your vet done blood work on her? sometimes yorkies have thyroid problems and one of the symptoms is loss of hair. This may or may not be the problem, but something to check ask your vet if it hasn't been ruled out yet.

try to change even the ear cleaning products....it is worth a try to see if she gets better! Also it could be something in the enviroment, try not to use any fabric softner on her bed/blankie and no franganced desinfectant on her area. My chihuahua used to get reactions
