| Cottage cheese? Is cottage cheese okay to top on kibble for my 6 month old pup?? What other toppers can any fellow YT owners recommend? Thank you! |

| Cottage cheese is fine to use...we also have done other fresh foods like yogurt, a little plain scrambled egg, sweet potato, butternut squash, various canned foods, etc. We use just a small amount of these foods to supplement Teddy's kibble since the kibble is balanced but it's beneficial to include healthy fresh foods. |

| Putting things on food can cause picky eating habits. I was taught to offer these things after the dry food is eaten. |

Thank for all the great ideas! So far i have only tried sweet potato and shaved apple minus the skin. He did enjoy the cottage cheese but not As much as the sweet potato lol. He too uses good kibble but was the only way to get him to eat more than a couple kibbles. Thanks again!

I can see how that could lead to it but unfortunately my pup got picky all on his own, started off on kibble alone and them would only eat a few kibbles. For such a small baby i has to find a way to get him to eat so his sugar levels or weight wouldn't drop. Wish i could of just done kibble

| Most cottage cheese brands are very high is sodium, even the low sodium ones are high. You may want to go with Fage Greek Yogurt 0%, and the fresh (not canned) veggies already mentioned.
