| Orijen Senior kibble Do you think it is good for a dog that needs to loose weight? Has anyone tried it and how did you like it and your dog?

YT 3000 Club Member | how old is your dog and what is the fat content of this food, chester is 11 and he is not on any senior food and probably never will be, and you can look at the calories per cup that would be listed on the bag of food, he is on the acana which is the same company that orjien is |

| Never tried it, but I'm sure if you're doing portions correctly, Fido could lose weight on it. I believe the fat content is around 15% minimum. Protein is a bit high at 38%. Ash is 8%. I would think you could do better with Annamaet Lean if you can get it. Lots of people have had luck with Wellness Core Reduced Fat as well. But I think it's more about reducing portions and getting more exercise. You can use green beans as a 'filler up' to make his tummy feel more full.
