| What's a wellbalanced diet? Can't take poop eating anymore!!! I have a book called Little Dogs: Training your Pint-Sized Companion by Deborah Wood. She says that if the dog is on a Well-balanced diet, the poop eating shouldn't be a concern. So my question is...what exactly is a Yorkie well-balanced diet? Can someone tell me exactly what and how they feed their dog? I've been feeding Royal Canin puppy formula. I know that's not the BEST..but what is? They don't sell chicken soup around here and I'm iffy about it being manufactured by diamond. I also found a website that has mixed reviews about it (below). I really want to give Baby the best, just don't know what it is! A lot of you give your dogs Ceasars...then there was a post on YT against it. I'm so confused. HELP! I'm starting to think that I shouldn't have given Baby the nickname Poops b/c she's living up to it! LOL http://www.rateitall.com/i-53381-chi...vers-soul.aspx

| Some of the better dry dog food brands are Wellness, Innova, Canidae, Natural Balance & California Natural. The Ceasars is not a good wet food. I'm pretty sure all of the above dry foods sell wet food also. Also be sure to look at the treats your giving them, you don't want any corn, wheat, or beet pulp in the ingredients.

| I don't know if I necessarily agree with the comment about the poop eating. Samson is on Innova which is an excellent food and he still tries to eat some poo once in a while. I think there can be a variety of reasons why they do this maybe one being the diet. I've done some research and here's a list I put together of foods that to me seem to be very healthy based on ingredients. JMO Artemis Azmira Blue Buffalo Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul Dr.’s Foster & Smith Evangers Evolve Fromm Four Star Holistic Blend Innova Karma Organic Merrick Newmans Own Northwest Naturals N-R-G C & P’s Organix C & P’s Ultramix Pet Promise Petguard Premium Lifespan Premium Edge Pro Plan Show Bound Naturals Wysong Wenaewe Wellness |
