| feeding purina puppy chow I'm getting my new boy louie on sunday he is 10 wks old. The breeder told me to continue to feed him purina puppy chow till he is 4 months old, I want to slowly transition his food to a good holistic brand. but he said that holistic is too much meat for him. do you all have any suggestions? I want to do the right thing for my new boy. |

| no no. i would slowly transition as soon as you get the baby. that stuff is garbage. jmo but if it is a healthy puppy you can check with your vet and see if you can switch asap. I switched Cedric over when I got him with no issues.
