| Coco's Allergy Test Results Well, we didn't have to wait the full two weeks on Coco's test results. Vet called today. She's pretty much allergic to every type grass that we have here in Texas. Food allergy testing came back ok, allergin levels a little elevated towards beef but that was all. Works for us because I don't feed her beef. The vet did mention dust mites and flea saliva. She is on frontline for fleas and we've never noticed any fleas on her nor any bites. We haven't had any problems where we are with fleas in the past. But I guess anything is possible. So, in about a week she will be put on allergy medication. They ordered it for her today. Not cheap either, at least to get her started on it. I forget what she called it. We are going to pick up her test results tomorrow just so we have a copy of it for her records. Poor baby girl. But, we're happy to finally know what she's allergic to and to be able to get her on medication to help her. |
