| anyone elses dog a piggie? Jess is 5.3lbs and she could eat like a Rottweiler. I see posts of people who's bigger yorkies eat 1/4 all day. Jess eats 1/4 cup twice a day (probably more, we don't always measure.) and then sometimes a couple mini carrots, a few blue buffalo bites, the bottom of my yogurt, a piece of chicken...no tummy issues and no real weight gain but she still wants more!! I have taken to throwing the kibble around the room because she inhales it without chewing in about 15 seconds.. (I don't give her fatty stuff) so is anyone elses dog a piggy pie?? |

| Tibbe was always a good eater but now that he's feeling better with his MVD and all feisty again, he's eating like a piggy for sure. He's always wanting to train and when he does, he gets his lightly-soaked kibble as treats. Why he thinks those are so great I'll never know but he's very fond of eating this past month!!! Wakes me up now between 6:30 and 7:00 am for his breakfast and I'd better not tarry about getting myself up and into the kitchen. He's right there pushing me along on my legs and barking if I don't move fast enough. After I mix the canned food with the kibble, I like to let it set until the kibble is slight softened by the moisture from the canned hepatic formula and during that few minutes, I'm starting the morning coffee and take him out to potty. Once hes back in the house, he's grousing the whole time until I set his bowl down and just attacks his breakfast once the bowl hits the floor. And then he stands there and eats until his bowl is empty. Next, he comes and kisses me all over my face and thanks me with dogfood breath. Then he wallows all over the couch, rolling on his back and squirming all around so playful and happy. He loves his morning ritual. Pretty much the same thing happens about dinner time sans making the coffee. Once he tells me he wants dinner, I can't move fast enough fixing it to suit him.

| Sometimes we have a piggy here and sometimes not. There are days I think she would eat all day long if I'd let her. Someday she doesn't eat very much at all. She used to be pretty picky, but I think I found food she finally likes. When she wants to eat and eat, I give her frozen green beans and squash. She thinks she has a huge yummy treat! |

| Scooter will eat anything that is still for more than a second. He loves sushi, all kinds of fruits, salad and just about anything that is consumable. He weighs 7 pounds and I swear he eats at least 7 pounds of food each day. The vet says not to worry because he is fit and healthy. He definitely belongs on the piggy list.

| Huey is a piggie, but not for his 2 meals of < 1/4 cup of kibble, which he will eat steadily although still not quickly if I stand and watch, but will go untouched, sometimes until the next meal if he gets what he wants...TREATS!!! It doesn't matter what kind of treat it is. If it comes out of the cupboard or the fridge or freezer, he is all over it. Green beans, carrots, cornflakes from his kong toy, cheerios, and of course, the always prized cheese!!! He will eat his kibble faster if I put it in his kong, too. Don't leave a plate of anything too close to the edge of the coffee table...he ate a whole plate of cheese that he got off the table...there had to be at least 2 or 3 ounces left when he got hold of it. Thank goodness, he never had any problems from it.

| I have 3 major piglets!! They will wolf down before even smelling it first and they also keep my kitchen floor clean. At meal time while I'm making their food, one is low key, but has ears & tail up and keeps her eyes right on me, one is spinning in circles and the other one is so excited she will paw my leg and even the cabinet door and give a squeak. Jilli Ann is usually not interested. She has her times when she's a piglet, but not too often.
