Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Coconut Do you think CocoTherapy Coconut Chips and Bob's Red Mill Flaked Coconut Unsweetened are the same? Both are just coconut nothing else included? Was thinking of adding it to Galen's diet

| Cocotherapy claims that their coconut flakes are more digestible than the ones you can buy at a health food store and I believe that does make a difference. The CocoTherapy ones always dissolved/broke apart very easily when I added them to moist food which leads me to believe they are being broken down by the body more efficiently and more beneficial. I'm sure the Bob's Red Mill would be just as tasty a treat but I'd have to wonder if they'd come out the other end mostly whole and undigested. You could always try and see! http://www.cocotherapy.com/difference_cocotherapy.htm Toward the bottom of the page, CT explains the difference between their chips and other dehydrated coconut for humans. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Thanks for the info. I may just do the oil. Galen's puppy coat is a hot mess. lol it gets so knotty. I brush it every other - once a day. I want to give him more oil in his body to help with his adult coat coming in. I might just do the oil. 3 oz bag of chips do not seem like they will last that long.
