Yorkie Talker | poopie problem! I have had my sweet little Bentley for 1 week now. It was discovered that the poor little guy had an intestinal parasite (coccidia). He has been given a round of antibiotics that we have to continue for 2 weeks. We have also almost completely switched his food from what the breeder gave us to Wellness Core puppy food. He is doing wonderful and has almost no peepee or poop accidents in the house EXCEPT in the middle of the night when he poops in his crate. We take him out every hour and a half to 2 hours and he goes peepee when we take him out. He poops outside after he eats, but every night he still continues to go in his crate, then he cries like it is the end of the world. I feel so sorry for him because it is clear that he does not want to potty in there but we can't seem to time him going out with when he has to poop in the middle of the night. We are going to try to feed him his dinner a little earlier and give him his antibiotics in the afternoon instead of the evening but I really don't know what else to do :/ any other ideas or advice would be so greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

| So sorry your pup is going through this! Is there a way to connect an ex-pen to his crate like a puppy apt? That way he can have a separate space to go potty & on the other side have his water & food bowl, then his crate to sleep in...hope you'll find the adequate solution.
