| Snacks My baby hates kibble. She is going to be 5 months old and still tiny so she is fed 4 times a day (Stella & Chewey, Natures Instinct and Primal all freeze dried or frozen). I was wondering what I can leave down as a snack just in case I miss a feeding. Any suggestions yorkie mommies!!! |

| I would be free feeding her and if she hates her kibble then I would try a different food. A lot of companies will send you a sample if you email them. Just be sure you are feeding a high quality food from a reputable company. I'm not familiar with the kibble you mentioned but surely you could feed her something she really likes. Also, if what you are feeding is a good food then you might try adding some canned, wet food to make it more enticing. We have even added boiled chicken bits to Princess Sophie's food, when she was very little to make her want to eat more. Good luck and let us know how things progress!!

| Thanks so much! She is eating a 5 star rated food but it is frozen raw or freeze dried raw and I can not leave it down. I have been experimenting with different (healthy) treats left down in between her feedings and it seems to be working. |

| You could also do homemade treats. At least then you know exactly what is in them.

| There is a thread. Let me see if I can find it. Chicken jerky is a good one. It's just chicken! And there are some with veggies and fruit too. I'll look for the thread and post it.
