| My 10yo yorkie Snores. Hi my 10yo male yorkie snores. Some times he is so Loud he wakes himself up lol. I have found that when he gets over Excited he starts to Snort Wheezing and cough. It's like he is having a fit. But it's only when he gets over excited. He has done this Weird Reaction sense he was a puppy but I have started to Notice that it is getting Worse as he is getting older. As a puppy I have asked 3 vets about it and they all say. Well his Vitals r all good and he seems to be a happy and well cared for dog. This could be just a cork of his. But I'm worried that it is not and his Sinuses may be getting Worse do to now the Snoring. Does anyone have any thoughts? Or lol am I being a lil Neurotic yorkie mommy lol. |

| First Welcome to YT! Glad to have ya.. My 6 year old snores LOL- One night I was about ready to pull my hair out! Both Peanut and DH were snoring so loud!! The over excited snort wheezing you are talking about sounds like it could be a reverse sneeze. Peanut does this .. usually when he gets too excited, or when he drinks water too fast. It is usually is nothing to worry about and is pretty common. You can you tube reverse sneezing and watch videos to see if that is what your baby does.. When Peanut does have an episode, I will put one hand on his bum ( because he will move around so much LOL I try to hold him still) then with the other hand I will rub his throat up and down and talk to him to calm him down.. it will always help and limit the time of the sneeze.

| Aww he is adorable!! The picture has to be a certain size. What I usually do is send the pic to my email, then save, open with paint and then re-size it. If you need any help Nancy is really good at helping and creating avatars!!

| I have a 14 year old female yorkie that snores. She can get pretty loud at times.
