| New Pup Hi everyone!! First post on this forum so hope you don't mind i have a Yorkshire Russell and not a purebred Yorkie! I do have a purebred Jack Russell however! lol Anyway my husband and i adopted a 5 month old yorkshire russell, whom we have named Jax. He has had no vaccinations, been wormed or had a flea treatment ever! He is having a wormer and being frontlined 2moro and is booked in for first set of vaccinations and microchipping this friday so he has a week to settle in. My question is he seems to be pooing ALOT!!! Around 8 times a day! I wonder if this is because i'm slowing changing his food over? Or what he was originally being fed? Today he has so far only had 2 poos! So more normal! But thought i would ask. He was originally being fed Bakers complete puppy and i am slowly moving him onto Wainwrights. Could this be the food? And if so i'm presuming it will stop when hes completely onto wainwrights? Or could it be because he is needing worming or due to the nerves and stress of entering a new home? Thanks all |

| Thanks He is adorable, favourite thing this minute is attacking my mouse cursor when i'm using the internet! lol. Hes been spending most of his time in my back garden and trying to entice my 12 year old JR to play with him, he tends to get ignored most of the time! lol. Pooping seems to have completely calmed down today, i said 2 earlier and its still only been that, so it must have been upset from the move and what the previous people were feeding him etc. |
