Pickles in heat Hello everyone! I haven't been able to stay in the forums for too long because of my appointments with my OB, ENDO and Perintologist(sp?). Yeah I'm seeing three doctors. I've had alot of scares with my pregnancy... But everything is well now. keeping my fingers crossed that it's all smooth sailing from here on out. Well, at least until labor pains start hehehhe By the way, I'm having a girl!!!! Anyway, my lil angel is in heat now. It's driving my male pomeranian insane!!! I keep them both separate in crates but I really can't keep them there too long. I was up all night because they just hated the whole idea. I have a schedule with their Vet tomorrow and I'm not sure who to take with me first. Should I bring Pickles in to have her spayed or have my pom neutured first? As much as I want to have it done all at once, I don't think I can handle the idea of having them both under anesthesia. What should I do?

Hi , I suggest that you to bring your male because most vet won't spay a female when she have her " heat " .

I did ask about that too. The vet will actually do it but they'll charge me more. I'm just concerned about her because she;s not even a year old yet.

I just made the appointment. It's his first time going under anesthesia. I'm praying he'll do fine. My baby's a big boy now. His angels will watch over him

| I had my male and female spayed and neutered at the same time and it was the best decision we made. They both had the same down time so neither one of them wanted to wrestle around. I didnt have any problems with either of them with their stitches. If you have two this is the way to go.

Glad to hear Monkey is doing fine. He probably will sleep without to much trouble tonight. Make sure he has some food and water and has a warm place to lay down. Make sure he is not jumping from/to anything.

The thread title I started is so way off now heheheh but Pickles is doing great. Of course, she wants t wrestle around with Monkey but my hubby and I had to sleep in separate rooms. He stayed in the master bedroom with Pickles while Monkey and I stayed in the soon-to-be nursery. I have a low bed there and it won't let him exert too much. He ate right away and drank water without vomiting. Thanks you guys... I have Pickles scheduled 3 weeks from now for a spay.
