| Canine Caviar I decided to try Canine Caviar this time around when I needed to get Heidi some more food... Oh, my goodness, I have never seen so much tail waggin', wiggling & crunching over dry dog food in all my life! She'd crunch and then look up at me like, "I love it, I love it", wiggling all the way. Thank you to those who have posted about their dogs loving it & it being a nutrious dog food. I didn't expect her to get that excited. There was a handful of Innova kibbles still in the bottom of the bowl when I put the new food in. Where did I find it? Yep, spit out on the floor while Canine Caviar was completely gone. She has always free fed, but she likes it so well I might have to keep my eye on it a little better! I hope they don't mess it up by changing it like all these other companies seem to do.

| That would be a wonderful sight if it was a first time! LOL So happy she likes it! I use the Puppy food and there are others on here that also recommend some of the other varieties of CC. You might want to ask what others use CC and what types they use cause I think one of them was not recommended. They will help you out!! Happy for you and for your pup!!

| I'm so glad to hear this. I just ordered my first bag and hope Chloe likes it as much as Heidi did. Thanks for the info.

| What!? Uh-oh, it was Lamb & Pearl Millet. Please, please, please tell me that kind is ok! LoL She gets excited like this over a scrambled egg or a little yogurt, but never dry dog food.

| I don't remember one not being recommended but... My boys love the Grain Free Open Sky (duck) and the Wilderness (venison) so far. Mickey loves Wilderness the most. It is so exciting to see them love a food like this.

| Well, I was going to give this a try, but the can has Carrageenan Gum. So the can is off my list.

I feed the Grain Free and he seems to like the three formulas he has had equally... He has had the Open Sky... Wilderness and Open Sky... waiting to try the Buffalo. He "Still" shrieks and does circles at mealtime!! Was just doing it tonight... We also do the cans which No Longer have Carrageenan Gum but Guar Gum instead!! I sometimes add a teaspoon to his kibble. When I open the can I split it into about 5-6 Snack Baggies & freeze them... Last edited by RileyDC; 02-27-2013 at 04:17 PM.

Either... I am in constant contact with one of the Reps there. I would recommend them all...!! I Don't think you can go wrong with any of the formulas. Last edited by RileyDC; 02-27-2013 at 04:21 PM.

For example: It says Chicken & Millet and Lamb & Millet are 1.5% Is 1.5% bad? They REALLY need to get the site fixed if the levels are different than what is listed on the bags.

Not sure. I've never looked at the other bags. They Definitely need to finish fixing it though!! They still have carrageenan gum on the website but the cans I bought say Guar gum. I am going to mention it to them again tomorrow ... I mean how long does it take?!
