Senior Yorkie Talker | fleas I am not sure if this is the right place for this but I rescued my sophie a week ago..She is 11 weeks and is covered in fleas..everything I find says dont put on a dog under 6 months. I was hoping somebody has some home remedy or something I can use on her.

| Try a bath with Dawn dishwashing liquid.(the blue one )...it kills the fleas. You will need to wash all bedding and then apply a preventative when the pup is old enough.

| Also, after you bathe her apply K9 advantix 11...safe on puppies over 7 weeks of age, check with your vet first but this is all I use.

| Poor baby! I agree with the advice given above. Wash everything that can be washed and vacuum everything possible. I would take your baby to the vet not only for the flea med, but she may need an additional medication for bites, especially because she is so tiny. The fleas were bad this year. I had never seen one in my life until this past summer. Best wishes to Sophie. Keep us updated.
