| Senior Food? Foxy will be seven next month, and I am wondering do I need to switch her to a senior food? Thanks!

YT 2000 Club Member | My Spud is 8 and he is on Blue Buffalo senior food. I would check with your vet and see if he should be changed over. My Spud likes to eat so he needs a senior diet where he won't get too fat. I hope you find out what is right for your Yorkie. |

| I personally think Senior dog food is a marketing scam!

| Senior foods have less protein in it and older dogs need less protein, so I am told anyway unless all I read is a scam as well, wouldn't be surprised though if it was? Susie is nearly 16 now and I buy her senior but not all the time, depends what is on offer, she is not fat so I am not worried about that aspect. I know that tinned food makes her fart a lot, worse than my hubby!!!!! phew!!!! |
