| Puppy Teeth... Camrey lost a tooth tonight!!!! When do puppies usually lose their teeth? Now I am so nervous she will eat them when they fall out. I just happened to see her playing with something & reached down to get it, and it was a tooth!!!!

| Puppies normally swallow there baby teeth when they lose them so it is ok if they swallow them.

YT 2000 Club Member | Teeka is 6 1/2 months and she has lost most of her baby teeth. I have found quite a few of them including the one she lost today!

| I always thought all dogs ate their teeth, in fact it was unusual to find their teeth because they usually eat them. Just sayin.

YT 2000 Club Member | I think the reason, I have found so many is that I am paranoid that she is eating something that she shouldn't. When I look to see what she has in her mouth or trying to get off the floor, I find them. Like tonight, she had been playing with a yorkie cousin and was mouthing something on the carpet....it was a tooth! I also find her chewing oddly and check. She probably has swallow most!

| Mine has lost all his baby teeth (started at about 15 weeks, ended at about 5 1/2 months). Saw and took away only one tooth, I imagine he ate the rest. It's perfectly normal

| Yes, it is very normal for pups to eat/swallow their baby teeth. I believe they start falling out around 15 weeks and some may need to be pulled out by your vet. Izzy has two baby teeth left (my husband actually pulled several of her loose teeth out so she wouldn't swallow them and saved them - not sure what we are going to do with the teeth he has saved...) that I know will have to be pulled by the vet. She goes in next Monday to be spayed and the vet will pull them then.

| She lost another one that she was playing with, but we couldn't find it.. So I guess she ate it! My daughter was checking her other teeth & noticed quite a few fell out!!! Thanks for reassuring me that this is all a normal process for puppies!!! You all have been so forthcoming with great advice!! Thank You!!!
