| Cerenia Tablets for Motion Sickness Does anyone have any experience using Cerenia for a dog that constantly vomits on car rides? My poor Lily always gets sick on car rides. I have tried rescue remedy, benadryl and not feeding her right before we go anywhere. It doesn't matter, poor thing always gets sick in the car. She has a snoozer car seat, but this doesn't make a difference either. Also, If anyone has tried this medication was it something you had to use every time or did it help the dog get over the carsickness?

| No, just use it when Tibbe is nauseated from GI upsets. It stops his spitting up or vomiting for that so hopefully it can do the same thing for poor Lily's car sickness. Please let us know if it works for that - it would be so good to know.

| I sure will. I am picking the script up tomorrow and I will be trying it out on Sunday. I am bringing the pups with me to see my parents so they will both be in the car for a couple hours. Wish me luck.

| Will do. Hope the medicine works and Lily can enjoy the trip along with the rest of you, her tummy settled by the Rx.

| I used The Cerenia yesterday for Lily. I gave her 1/2 a tablet as directed by the vet. I did see a little improvement with her. She never really vomited during the ride in the car. She did spit up a little bit, but nothing major like she usually does. I am still going to try a little behavior modification along with her thunder shirt to see if I can get the same effect. I just hate to medicate her every time we go in the car. But, I would have to say the Cerenia does work.

| My vet said I could use meclizine for Huey once when he exhibited symptoms of dizziness. Meclizine human prescription is Antivert (for vertigo), but the nonprescription version is "non drowsy dramamine" . That might be something to try for motion sickness. For dogs under 10 lbs, give 6.25mg 1 hr prior to travel. (1/4 tablet)

| Glad to hear it helped. I would try to behavior modification because that could help, too.
