| 10 yr old abbys dental and spay monday 21st! SO NERVOUS My little abbys app is Monday she's going to have at least 4 teeth pulled and she's going to b spayed. I dread it so much. I'm anxious to have her mouth all cleaned n her bad teeth removed. Im more nervous about the anesthesia and the spay. I've read everybody's postings and I feel a lot better about having it done but the closer its getting the worse I'm getting! I know I'm doing the right thing then I try to talk myself out of the spay. At my work so many ppl says they wldnt do it cause she's 10 but I don't think they understand its for her health not just keeping her from getting pregnant so it makes me doubt myself but I know its for the best. Sorry I'm rambling I'm just worried!!!! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I completely understand how you feel . I get so scared and anxious whenever mine have had to go under...bc there is always a risk, no matter what. But, all 3 of mine have always done so well - and the major, major, major (!) majority also do so well. So, I bet Abby will do great. Hang in there, and feel free to vent on Monday if you need to -- we all understand what you're going thru.

| I too understand the nervousness and worry (I cry big time when I have to drop off my boys with the vet). Try to focus on thinking of when you will pick up Abby after the procedure and bring her home. We'll keep Abby in our thoughts.
