| I've only heard good things about it, but when I got some for Joel only a couple days later they got brittle which let him break peices off so maybe I just got a bad brand....I dunno. Another thing is the last couple times I gave him some he puked and it wasn't even when he got a peice off. So I think I just had a freak experience, I don't give them anymore though. |

| My vet dentist said antlers are bad and those are just about the same hardness so I would think they are a good candidate to brake your dogs teeth.

| These are NOT safe. I have never given them to my dogs, but at the vet clinic we had some very scary cases with these. They do NOT digest. We had a dog who swallowed too big of a chunk and almost had to have surgery. They are not worth it. |

♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | Maybe the brand i get is different...my three looooove them! I buy the medium size as well, they don't break, unless dropped on the floor, then yes I have two pieces, the pups have to work on them, for me they last longer than a bully stick and don't smell nearly as bad. It's hardened Yak cheese, my three have no gastro issues with them at all...they are kind of pricey, that is the only issue I have with them.

| I buy these also. I prefer them to bullys bc they hardly have a smell. Even the "odorless" bullys smell like rotting fish sitting in the sun that have been pooped on to me. The ones I get are from Nepal and are very hard. They only way they can break is if they are dropped, but they are not as hard as antlers. One lasts for months, but not all dogs like them. They are a cheese so if your dog is sensitive to that, beware. Uni has pancreatitis, but has never has issue with the HC. I get the medium size. They have been fine even with my smaller fosters, <4 lbs. ETA this is the brand I get: http://www.himalayandogchew.com/

I have always given them to Riley and have never had any issues... He has to work on them and they have never broken off... I learned at a pet expo that of they get small you can put them in the microwave for about 45 seconds and they PUFF UP!! I have done this & Riley Loves it!! | |
