| Second LP surgery It's been quite a while since I've posted. Life has been busy. Lulu had LP surgery on her right hind leg 2 years ago at the age of about 7 months. We knew she had LP grade 3 in both legs, however, she did not show any clinical symptoms with her left leg so the surgeon and I agreed it would be better to wait on that one. Well, I am afraid the day has come...over the weekend Lulu began limping on her left leg. It's actually to the point where she has her left leg pulled up 90% of the time when she's walking. So we are going to the vet this afternoon to see about it & discuss making an appointment with the surgeon. My heart is aching for her. I hate to see her in pain! I dread going through another surgery & recovery, but if it's as successful as the first one was it will be more than worth the time, effort & money.

| I hope that all goes well for Ms. Lulu... it is really difficult seeing our babies in any type of discomfort. I'll be sending positive thoughts your way. |

| Surgery has been scheduled for Dec 27th. It's kind of funny but since returning home after the vet visit, Lulu hasn't limped! The vet did say her kneecap is out pretty much all the time. So surgery is necessary. She's on an anti-inflammatory for now.

| My little one is going to have done in both knees also. When they did xrays they said her bones weren't ready yet. I hope all goes well for your LuLu. Will be watching for post so I might know what to expect. |

| The surgery is so expensive I purchased true companion insurance in case of any emergencys they pay 90% with 100 deductible but not for pre existing problems but I figured with tiny dogs anything can happen. Hope your baby heals fast and without any problems. |
