| Two Bad News & a Good News Two Bad News and a Good News 1. Stewie has a new ear infection to go along with his upper respitory infection and dry skin. I swear, I love my breeder. *sarcasm!* 2. There were three Yorkies at the vet (mine & two others, all boys). I was talking to one of the ladies. Her baby was 3.8lbs at ten weeks. We were talking about her breeder and how horrible mine was. Anyway, she tells me that she had a 5lb little girl Yorkie who was four years old... a real member of her family. Her husband was recovering from cancer and was having a hard time walking. The little pup spent a bunch of time with him while he was off of work, watching t.v. and cuddling. Not too long ago while this woman was at work, her husband was going upstairs to get something from the fridge and fell -- on the Yorkie. She died instantly. She said her husband entered therapy because of it. I felt horrible for the woman and she got choked up telling me the story. I really didn't know what to say, so I tried to change the subject back to her new baby. and for the good news... 3. When the Vet came out to call us in, all three of the yorkies there, including Stewie, sat in a row facing her and looked at the floor. Its like they were in boot camp or something. All of us owners started laughing. The Vet said "who is the most handsome??". Stewie looked at me and the smallest puppy (8weeks) started barking really loudly and ran up to the Vet. It was so cute

| *kisses* to Stewie Hope Stewie feels better soon! I feel so bad for that women and especially her husband. He must feel so guilty. I couldn't imagine having something so special to me lose it's life BY me. I know I'd be beating myself up over it even though it was an accident.

| These Yorkies are usually the Drill Sergent at Boot camp so this was a particularly cute story..Yorkies are like kids-when one upper resp. thing gets sick the rest is at risk..He will be better real soon... The stories about accidental deaths make me sad. I have had a puppy that had been in its new home only 8 days and was closed up in a recliner foot rest and killed. I ALWAYS go thru the horrile things that can happen before my babies leave my home with their new owners..You can never be too careful.. |

| Thanks everyone. His ears are disgusting... brown crusty stuff. The ear drops she gave me seem to make it even worse, but I'm just going to keep on keeping on. Poor thing had his ear drops, antibiotic pill that he DESPISES, a .5mL of something for his skin and then some Children's Robitussin for his cough two times a day. I think he hates me. he's sitting at the edge of the bed now chewing on his Odie toy and giving me the evil Yorkie eye. Oh, forgot to mention that since I've had him (3 weeks) he's been sick. I wonder what his energy level would be like if he were 100%. I don't even want to know.
