| im going dehydrated/freeze-dried food? after going thru the WHOLE STORE (literally i cant make any return for like a month, they understood the situation but store policy ) at my local pet store for the RIGHT food quality food that Jah'Lija will eat without starving himself for a day or two and with lil success with Natures Variety ... i came across something i THINK and HOPE is what im looking for. dehydrated/freeze-dried foods!!!!! im like soooo excited about this because i had no idea they made food like this (been under a rock lol) and the more i read the more i like and getting more excited. i came across a few brands that caught my eye but haven't really looked into them. from my understanding dehydrated and freeze-dried foods are different, i personally like the freeze dried food better because you don't have to add anything else but warm water (i travel allot so that's great!) anyways im gonna stop rambling out of excitement but it feels soooo good to know there is a food my baby would like, i feel like my mission is almost completed! lol anyone that are feeding their babies dehydrated/freeze-dried foods please feel free to share your opinions also what websites are you ordering from? brands that i like: stella and chewys northwest naturals steve's real food grandma lucy the honest kitchen sojos wysong archetype

| my two looooove Stella and Chewy's. Soph is a super picky eater and it's the first food I've found that she begs for and scarfs down in no time. We get ours from a local shop. Beef is their favorite with Surf & Turf a close second. I like that it's freeze-dried so very convenient for travel, storage, etc. I crumble a patty up and add some green beans, their vitamin treat and a sprinkle of dried coconut chips for breakfast every morning. For Gulliver I'll add some shredded raw carrot as well. |

| We use the Cocotherapy Coconut Chips! Not sure how much it does nutritionally but Toki likes 'em! When we do raw, we do Stella & Chewy's freeze-dried (dandy lamb was a hit as was duck duck goose). I'd also look into Primal's freeze-dried if you can find that near you. The stores near me carry these products at a competitive price so I don't order online as of yet but I'm always looking for good deals! |

| I give Grandma Lucy's in the morning with their kibble. They love it, and I also use it to stuff and freeze in their kongs |

| im LOVING SoJos and The Honest Kitchen the most so far, still debating on Grandma Lucy. can the meals be warmed up? also how long did you let it sit to re-hydrate before feeding? because i seen a couple of reviews so far on youtube and it doesn't look appealing, im guessing the person didn't make it right. (i will post it up) i did see another form on here and a member named Talluah Bee did a review and it does look very appealing because it looks like she did it CORRECT. (i will post the link) another question can these be eaten as whole meals without adding kibbles because those are out the question for my furbaby. | When you follow the directions and give it time to rehydrate it does not look like that! I add extra water for mine since I mix it with kibble for the dogs and even then it does not look like that! Some of the SoJos requires you to add the meat.

| I've been using The Honest Kitchen Zeal, because my schnauzer can't manage anything with more than 5% fat...but because in the Zeal everything is fish based, she's doing really well. What I love the most, is that it is easy to pick up some smaller sample sizes of food for Charlee (she only needs 1/4 cup per day)...so I can give her a little more variety while her sister gets the Zeal every meal...its so easy to give separate meals. I usually mix it up first thing in the morning, take the dogs out, and by the time we come in...Nice warm breakfast waiting. Man they've got it good!! |
