| Question about eyes I'm working on clearing Joels eyes so I already have him on grain-free food and filtered water, his eyes got a little better but not all the way. Then I noticed I've been feeding him Roscos treats that probably all have grain, duh! Lol So what are some good treat brands that are grain-free? Another question about the water, we have the Brita dispencer that filters it, is that good enough or does it have to be bottled? Any help is appreciated |

| Toki likes the Stella & Chewy's Carnivore Kisses which are just freeze-dried pieces of meat (it'd probably be cheaper to make your own though). She also likes the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Wild Bites...you can tear each square into lots of little treat-sized pieces so they last a while too. I am starting to lean more toward just using fresh veggies and pieces of fruit over pre-made treats (but I still like to have some on hand) |

As far as treats, my boys get chicken (skinless, and boiled that I chop up and freeze), zukes, Grandma Lucy's freeze dried meat treats and trail mix, fresh pineapple, and honey nut cheerios or Gerber puffs. | |

| I give Gracie the Stella & Chewy's Carnivore Kisses. I think they sell another kind of treat as well. There are other all natural treats for dogs out there but Stella & Chewy's uses only the very best meat sources from grass fed animals that have not been injected with antibiotics, hormones, or steroids like most meats are. There are a few other companies that source their ingredients like that but most do not. I think a one ingredient treat is best. When you start adding more ingredients the more chance of an allergic reaction you get. I have seen Gracie start to get brown tears when my grand kids have been here and fed her stuff she is not supposed to have. It's amazing the things that can effect these dogs! |
