| I am not a fan of Nutro and I suggest that when you look at dog food you don't just look at ingredients but look up info about the company.

Is there anything in particular you're looking for in a canned dog food (availability, price-wise, ingredient-wise, fat/protein content etc)? Maybe we can make some recommendations if you're interested

Nutro I am not a fan of Nutro also. Probably most premium dog foods will cost more, and may be worth it in the end for safety. But there may be cheaper premium foods? Could you try BB kibble and soak it if your dog likes or needs soft? That may be cheaper. Let us know if you find a good food at a reasonable price that your dog does well on; always useful to hear others' experiences.

So you feed can because your pup is a picky eater?? Ever price homemade foods? But the Vits and probotics is expensive but last a year. The rest isn't bad. Whole chicken & whatever. Freeze alot . I've seen it priced cheaper than kibble. And you can still get cans when traveling if needed. I think I've going this route. I know what my dog is eating..I hope.

I was gonna say, price is definitely a reason why I only use canned food as a topper. The brands I prefer to use are in the same price range as Blue Buffalo if not a little pricier. I like the canned Blue Buffalo Wilderness, Nature's Variety Instinct, Tiki Dog, and Weruva. Tiki Dog is probably my favorite at the moment. Home-cooking may be more cost-effective if you can't feed any type of kibble. It does seem like prices are going up on everything though!
