| My Yorkie Can Eat His Kibble Only, No Extras ! Oscar eats Acana Ranchlands and does fabulous on it. Perfect formed solid poos.No digestive or other issues. He gets exactly 1/4 cup 2 x per day but even a fraction more gives him soft poo. He cannot have any treats of any kind. Even just 2 green beans on top of his food gives him serious diarreah (I only did this once). My question is: Is this sensitivity to foods a normal yorkie trait ? | I have one who is really sensitive (Rosie). I home cook for her and any changes will make her sick. For example, i always use green beans. One day I used green peas and she had loose stool. But my other one, Mikki, can eat just about anything without any problems. So, I think it just depends on the pup. However, I think there are many Yorkies with sensitive tummies.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Every dog is different but Yorkie's can be known for their sensitive stomachs. Sometimes I think my Taycie may get sick by just looking at certain things... I have to be so very careful with everything she eats. She also has very bad food allergies so that doesn't help us either...

| Don't know if it is normal but that's how Jilly lived her life - except her only food that didn't send her into GI fits of bloody diarrhea and vomiting was Science Diet Sensitive Stomach. So I fixed it just about every way imaginable, soaking, baking, microwaving, broiling, sun-drying - anything I could think of to give her some variety. She thrived on that food and lived to 13 years and 4 days of age. But if someone slipped her a tiny bite of even white bread - she was very ill for 3 days, tummy blown up with gas, bloody diarrhea, vomiting and never lying still she was so restless from pain. So that diet of Science Diet Sensitive is all she ever got for 12 1/2 years.
