| fungus skin problem My yorkie has had a skin problem for the las 5 years. Redness as first, then crustations and now his hair is falling out. At first the vet thought it was a bacterial infection or allergy. So I spent over $3500.00 for allergy tests and bacterial remedies since. And still no relief it is only getting worse. I have tried everything possible and gone to numerous vets with no cure in site. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem with their yorkie. I need help. |

| By any chance has your Vet tried the drug Ketoconazole? This is used for Fungal infections, and it does work. My late Molly used to get fungal infectins on feet and we would always use Ketoconazole.

| I'd ask for a referral to a vet dermatologist. Good luck

| Agree about the dermatologist, but would definately start using coconut oil on the spots until you can have him seen.

| Just repeating what others have recommended... Piccolo was given a diagnosis at a Vet Dermatologist appointment, when other vets could not figure things out.
