| Stella and Chewy's freeze dried patties I signed Callie up for the bark boxes because she is crazy happy about getting a box just for her in the mail. Well one of the things they had a sample of was Stella and Chewy's freeze dried raw patties. I am not a fan of raw because of juices but obviously this had no juices so I broke it up into little pieces and gave it to Callie and she absolutely loved it so I thought about looking into it but it said she would need like 6 patties a day for her weight and need 1/4 a cup of water for each patty. I honestly could not see Callie eating 6 patties a day because shes not a big eater and I don't think she would drink as much water as they say she should have either. Well the next day or two her tummy seemed a little unhappy and I'm guessing it was the patty sense that was really the only thing different she had. Anyway I am probably not switching but I was curious of every ones opinions on the Stella and Chewy's freeze dried raw patties?

| Not about the freeze dried, but when I gave Uni S&C lamb raw (frozen not freeze dried) that was when I found out she had an adverse reaction and got pancreatitis. I haven't given S&C anything since then.

| I have a bag of the freeze dried duck duck goose that I use occasionally when I don't have anything thawed. I rehydrate it in warm water and add green beans. Toki really loves it! I would be interested in trying other flavors in the future! How do you like the bark box??? I considered it but I wanted to make sure it was a good deal. What things have you gotten so far??? |

| I've tried both the raw frozen patties and the freeze dried. A definite no to the frozen raw patties. I can't get over the fact that it's raw uncooked meat. I won't let Kaji anywhere near me after he eats that. Eww... But the freeze dried ones he also really enjoyed and weren't as gross. I'm considering buying some as an occasional treat as he's grown tired of most chews.

| My five eat S & C duck duck goose every day, which I rehydrate in warm water and add mixed vegis and a bit of kibble. They eat one patty each per day, not six!!! I notice how much they recommend, but that is crazy!! Mine are all doing very well on this diet. They love it.

| My two have been S&C freeze dried since I have had them (2years) and never a problem. They get two in the a.m. and two in the p.m. with dry food. Both eat from the same dish (neater feeder) so I don't know exactly how much they each eat, but they also get treats like frozen green beans, blueberries, peas, very small amount of cheese, apple, carrots, etc. They are very very healthy.

| I gave Zoey S & C's freeze dried (rehaydrated) for one month and she developed pancreatitis! If you check out the fat content on the freeze dried it is 30%. I would not suggest feeding it.

| Thanks for the tip, but I've been through this in the past re the fat content. Got the suggestion from my breeder who I trust 100%, and who raises beautiful champions. PLUS I spoke with Stella & Chewy's about this. I am satisfied with what I was told by them. Thanks anyway
