| Is this normal? When I was brushing Joels teeth tonight, I looked in his mouth and saw a loose tooth and the top of the tooth was black and I'm freaked out, mostly bc teeth creep me out anyway, lol but does that sound normal? |

If so , it will probably come out soon. Just in case , maybe should call your vet for an opinion... | |

| You know, I recall that Toki's teeth were similar when she was losing them. I think the black end was blood that had collected inside the base of the loose tooth. So I'd say it is normal if Joel is teething and the tooth was coming out. If you're really concerned, get it checked out by a vet though... Better to have peace of mind then worry but it sounds normal to me |

| It's discolored because it is dead. He is young. I would give it time. If it doesn't come out by neuter time I'm sure the vet will pull it.
