| Help! Left food at home We are almost to my boyfriend's hometown, it's a four hr drive. We had to leave in a hurry and of course I forgot something...Luma's food! We packed her food and water bowls, but no foos, lol. His hometown is very VERY small, and the closest petco is an hr away. She eats Taste of the Wild puppy, the orange one. We're going to be away for a week. What in the world do we do? I don't want to drive far away and buy a whole other big bag of food. I feel really stupid but it happens. What is the best brand of food they have available at petco? I don't want it to upset her tummy switching food but she cant starve for a week. Could I cook for her? What could I make?

| Does your boyfriend know if his hometown has a farm/ag supply store or a Tractor Supply? Those stores usually carry TOTW.

I know those are the stores that carry it, we get ours from an America's Country Store...there is nothing in that town like that. The gas stations carry canned purina crap, but that's it. I've been searching for a tractor supply, there's nothing close. Gotta love tiny towns in texas.

| Tibbe's ER vet said, when Tibbe was recently there, that bland, unseasoned food like boiled white-meat chicken & plain white rice will be okay for just about any dog if you are worried about her getting diarrhea or something from new food. When Tibbe was in there, they gave him some baby food turkey meat & that didn't make him sick or give him diarrhea but don't know if she could live on it for a week.

| Maybe you could call a couple of vets there & see if they know if somehow close by sells her food? Or Google it to see if there is a seller not too far away. It might be worth the drive in the long run if someone does sell it.

| 50% chicken (lean, no fat or skin) and 50% rice would be fine or a week. She may tolerate a quick switch to a food formulated for tummy troubles like SD Sensitive Stomach.

| I would probably take the hour drive and pick some food up- It wouldn't be worth the hassle for me to make her the food, plus she might get use to the chicken and rice and not want the kibble when she gets home ...

I use beechnut because it's pure turkey and water, nothing else added.

| I had sample packs of her TOTW in the trunk of the car Thank goodness!! I guess being overly paranoid pays off sometimes.

| I would try going on the TOTW website and see if there's a store nearby that carries it. |
