Innova food reviews Hello all I am looking for reviews on Innova. I want to know about the poop. Do they poop more or less, is the odor horrible. Jada is on Royal Canin and her poop is fine, but I was looking for a canned food to go with it that had omega 3 fatty acids. She like Cesar but I dont think its what she needs.

My bichon eats innova. She only poops only once or twice a day. They are firm. I wish Khloe could have eaten innova but it didn't agree with her. It gave her runny poo.

Innova is a good food but I think the popularity decreased because of the Proctor & Gamble buyout.

That's true. Some people hate Innova because of the P & G buyout. I still buy it because Kirby has a bubble gut and it works for her. Khloe on the other hand couldn't tolerate the puppy food by Innova.

What is the problem with P&G? What other foods do they make?

I know they do alot of testing on animals. Not that it necessarily relates to dog food but something to keep in mind if you love your pets as much as i do! Also a big corporation usually means quality of food goes out the window.

Thanks for the advice, she had her first taste tonight and she ate all of her food in one shot. She would usually eat a little play and then eat a li'l more, then play again. It seems that she really likes it. I know this is gross but im still waiting on the poop. The ingredients seem to be good so we will see. However I'm upset to hear that P&G have been linked to animal testing. I will do some homework on that, but for now my picky eater is eating her food all of it

Innova dog food changed their formula I bought Innova for 5 years, and my dog loved it. I bought a new bag (different picture on the bag) the other day and fed it to my dog. He vomited within 30 minutes of eating the food. I thought he got into something and fed him chicken and rice. To make a long story short fed him Innova again, and again he was vomiting. I checked online and discovered on Innova's website they changed their formula. I am very disappointed that they did this, and didn't print on the bag that it was an "improved formula" as they call it. I compared the list of ingredients on both bags and they different. They must have changed it quite a bit if it caused my dog to get sick. He does have a sensitive stomach and when I change food I have to do it slowly. Does anyone have any ideas on what other high quality food I can try.

I started Peanut on Canine Caviar- Wild Ocean. It is also grain free! http://mycaninecaviar.com/product/wild-ocean-als/ He absolutely loves this food. The kibble is a perfect size as well, with the Acana I would have to cut it in half- Kibble was too big. I feed him 1/8 in the morning and 1/8 in the evening, as soon as I put his food down, I turn around and his bowl has been licked clean!! He has never EVER done that with any food!! I would def recommend trying this food~!

since August 2nd. It has done wonders for him and he still shrieks for meal time. I have had to add stuff to all of the other kibble I have tried… but not with the CC. It has only taken 2-years but I have finally found the food that works Best for him. He is eating the Grainfree Wild Ocean right now. He has tried the Grainfree Open Sky but they were out of it at the store I get it from. http://mycaninecaviar.com/product/wild-ocean-als/ This food has cleared his skin issues up… he has very little to no eye goop and his poops are perfect! I would Highly Recommend Canine Caviar!! | |
