| Decided to give Fromm grain free a try. Sheldon has been on Natures Variety grain free limited ingredient for a month, no itchiness and solids #2's but he is not too impressed with the flavor, he was due for a new bag and went and got the duck formula, he would not touch it. I smelled and it was kind of smelly ewwwww. So yesterday we tried again and nothing, so I went back to the pet store to get a different bag of food. It was 3 pm and No food in belly. I got Fromm grain free game bird formula, I figured let's give it a try and if he start to itch again then I will know for sure he has issues with potatoes or flax seeds. When we got home gave him 1/2 cup of his nv and he sniffed and walked away. I gave him some Fromm and he sniffed and ate it right away so he really likes it. I have never seen him eat his food so fast without adding water or veggies to it. Wish me luck! |

| Good luck! Fromm must make delicious food because my dogs gobble it up at every meal with nothing added. Hope it works out for you.

| My two love it! Just got the first bag of the grain free game bird for them. I like to swap around with each of the grain free so they don't get bored eating the same thing. |

| Let us know how it goes with the grain-free Fromm! Toki loves the Salmon a la Veg from Fromm's Four Star line and I'm going to try the grain-free line for her next bag! The Beef Frittata Veg is next on my list! |

| Update... Sheldon still loves his food, he had been on it since Tuesday, his poops are lighter in color and going more than before but this could be an adjustment period. I have not noticed any itchiness. Kentuckyyorkie, my plan is to get a different formula every time he runs out of his current bag of food, is this what you do or do you alternate between bags every other day or so? Thanks! | According to Fromm's website, the seven formulas in the Four Star (including the Grain-Free) are interchangeable due to the fact that they have similar compositions. Some people change flavors at the end of each bag and some switch flavors day to day without any problems! I'd love to switch flavors more frequently just to change it up for Toki but I feel like we don't get through a bag quickly enough for them not to go bad! I'm kind of curious about switching to a grain-free formula without transitioning even though it is from the same line. I will probably just play it safe and transition gradually over a week.
