| With all these recalled brands, what do you feed your pup? Two bags of predigree dog food was bought only to look online and to find that it is making peoples dogs vomit and are giving their dogs a lot of problems...etc. What is a dog food that I can find at any market that won't give dogs a problem? ( Dry food & wet.) What do you feed your dogs?

| I feed raw so don't have to worry about the recalls either....although I do confess that I occasionally feed NV or Primal so that does worry me.... |

| Acana. But I also like and trust Fromm, Canine Caviar, Precise, Nutrisource, Petcurean, etc.

| Ellie - Purina HA out of necessity. Rylee - Science Diet lamb and rice. He requires either a gastro food or one with beet pulp to do well. I don't like giving kibble, but I'm not particularly concerned about either food right now. My personal belief is that a properly formulated and accurately prepared homecooked diet is best for most dogs. This did not hold true for Ellie. And for Rylee the fiber issue would involve lots of trial and error.. Having cooked for the six pounder long term, I'm not about to do it for the sixteen pounder unless it is necessary for him. It takes time, energy, patience, and it costs more than kibble in a lot of cases. I got really tired of picking through chickens, weighing everything, dealing with freezing/thawing, traveling with it, etc. Ellie did love it though. She thrived on it for a long time.
