| Teeth and testicles Hi I have a 71/2 month old yorkie called Frankie he is quite small 4lb5ozs and has 3 retained teeth one being the bottom canine which is still there even though his adult tooth is well through. I have tried wiggling it as breeder suggested as it does need to come out to stop the adult one going into the roof of his mouth but to no avail. Breeder says I should give him a lot longer but the top canines are definitely not coming out on their own and I want him castrated as he is getting smelly where he pees on his fur. What is the consensus is he old enough or should I wait? I don't want him to have horrible teeth, my other yorkie had to go to an orthodontist as I left it til he was nearly 10 month old and she took a top adult tooth out to allow the bottom one to straighten. Thanks |
