| Deworming My Yorkie is 1 1/2 yrs old, and my question is, should I be deworming him on a regular basis ? He is inside all the time except to potty, but he does at times eat rabbit poop and his also..grossss ! I have never wormed him, but his breeder did before I got him at 12 wks. Thanks for your advise.

parasites. If you do this , your vet can give you the proper meds if he does have worms. Depending on what type of heartworm preventive you give him, most also treat for internal parasites. Probably the easiest thing to do is take a poop sample to your vet and have him tested.. | |
