| Homemade Flea Bath Recipe I don't know if this works or not. I saw it and thought I would share it here. I'm not sure I'd want my yorkie smelling like a lemon and I wondered if it would get yucky in yorkie hair. Looking for an inexpensive way to keep your pets flea-free? Then give this easy-to-make flea bath a try: What You Need: •One lemon •A pot •Water •A spray bottle, sponge or pet brush What You Do: 1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Then, remove from heat. 2. Add a sliced lemon to the pot, and allow it to steep overnight. 3. Apply the resulting liquid to your pet with a spray bottle, sponge or brush. 4. Repeat daily or as needed. Why This Works Lemons contain limonene, a chemical that kills and repels fleas. Homemade Flea Bath Recipe - Make Your Own Flea Dip

| Hmmmm...... interesting. I wonder what it does to their coat though?? The acid might strip the hair. Good thought though.

| I love the smell of lemon, and love natural products, so I may give this a try. I have limes here, but no lemons! We don't have a problem with fleas, but this may be good to keep on hand.

| While I could see it killing fleas, used repeatedly lemon juice will damage hair bc of the acidity... it is also used to highlight and lighten hair, so I would use it with caution on yorkie hair
