| Diet and how much? Hi All My first post and a hello from Brighton UK. I have just got my first puppy Dottie and as a newbie was requesting advice on how much she should be eating. I was given 2 large sacks of dry food, Royal Canin is one and the other specifically for the Yorkie breed. She doesn't seem to eat very much, maybe a spoonful at a time and only about 3 times a day.I also have goats milk which she seems to enjoy but also only a couple of desert spoonfulls 3-4 times daily. She does not like the wet puppy food. She also sleeps a lot although when she isn't asleep she is very active and playful. I got the dog a few days ago from a friend who has the mum and dad. There were no problems and she is 8 weeks and has had first jabs, second ones due next week. Is it just me being over cautious or is she really not eating enough. Thanks for any advice |
