| Stella & Chewy's dehydrated - How much do you feed? I am switching Zoey to S&C's and I was wondering how many patties do you feed. The package states that 2 patties for 6 lbs. Zoey is about 6 lbs but I think two are too many. I give her 1 1/2 but I don't want to underfeed her nor overfeed. Just asking for your recommendations. Cherie

| Gracie is 5 pounds and the lamb says 1 and 3/4 while the chicken says to feed 2. Sometimes I give her two and sometimes just one and a half and I give her raw ground turkey and veggies as a snack. I don't think it would hurt to give two. She always wants more than what I give her. I rehydrate the food with water or chicken broth. Of course she prefers chicken broth. She loves it dry as well but then I have to make sure she drinks extra water. I always make sure she drinks lots of purified water. |

| I rehydrate the patties also. At night I feed veggies but she always wants more food. She is recouping from hip surgery (October) and the rehab nurse does not want her to gain much weight right now until she finishes rehab. Thanks for your input. Cherie

| Hope your little one recovers quickly. I try to feed as close to what the company says to feed as possible as I want her to get the required nutrition. They put the recommended daily requirement by weight in their food so I don't want to sell her short on that. I do supplement her with The Missing Link dietary supplement when feeding less than recommended. She is far from overweight and is always wanting more. She did finally gain weight when I put her on S&C but only to a healthy weight for her. |
