| What time do you feed your dog? I need a better feeding schedule. I'm trying to figure out the best times to feed Delilah and how long it takes until he has to use the bathroom. So my question is: What times do you feed? Also.. after you feed your dog, how long do you wait until you take them out or until they have to go? I know all dogs are different but... Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks!

| I feed our 4 between 7:00 & 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 & 5:30 p.m. They usually go to the bathroom when they get up and after they eat. |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | First thing in the am is to go straight out the door and let them go potty. Than inside for breakfast at 7am, Lunch at 3:30 and their last meal of the day at 7pm. Any left over after a half an hour get taken up. No eating or snacks after 8pm. Depending on how old your pup is will depend on how long they are able to hold it after a meal. The younger they are the sooner (right after) a meal they will need to be taken out. The older they get the longer they will be able to hold it. And as you continue potty training them they will be able to clue you when they need to potty.

| Sasha gets breakfast usually around 9am or sometime afterwards. I take her out to potty first before eating breakfast. She gets dinner around 5pm. She poops twice a day. Sometimes she'll do her 2nd bowel movement before dinner and sometimes it's after but she always does it in the morning before breakfast. |

| Delilah is potty trained and she will be 3 in April. I have alway free fed her so I'm experimenting with feeding her twice a day. It is just so hard to keep track of how much she eats with free feeding. I've never really given her a chance to tell me when she has to potty because I've just always taken her out multiple times a day... even though most of the time she doesn't even have to go. Thanks for your help!

| It honestly varies day to day with Jackson. Some days I decide to sleep in until 10 and he doesn't eat "breakfast" until 10 or 11. Other days, he eats at 9am. Dinner is usually any time between 5-7pm. He's old enough now where it doesn't really matter. But yeah, as a pup, I'd be sure to take note when he was drinking water because he'd always have to pee about 10 mins later.

| Harry's strange!! Since he reached about a year old - he won't touch breakfast! He'll have quite a big lunch at 1 p.m. ish, then a big dinner at about 6.30 p.m. However, we also keep kibble down, so he can help himself. As he's got older, the poops have got bigger and less frequent. He always goes 8 a.m. ish (probably from the night before's dinner ) and about 4 p.m. ish - there's no rhyme or reason to his 'movements' now!!! Sally + Harry x |

I use to free feed my pups... until they all got really over weight. I tried everything to get them on a low cal diet and get their weights back down to a suitable weight for their size... with not much success. Now they are on a scheduled feeding.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I feed the gang breakfast around 8:30 am and dinner about 5:00 pm, they go potty about 10 minutes after they eat, but I also have pads setup in the porch for the before bed run, I don't like them in the dark yard late at night.. we usually go to bed at 11 pm.. hugs, |

| My girls eat twice a day. Once about 6:30 and once about 4:30. I do have kibble out all day. Mikki will eat some of it but Rosie just eats the two meals. Rosie was on this schedule ever since we got her. Mikki was one when we got her and still not completely used to it yet.

| Levi is so funny. He has a special cry he uses when he wants to eat. As a general rule, he has breakfast around 6:30 AM and dinner around 5:30 PM.
