| Blue Buffalo- potassium? Hi! I am in the process of switching Lexie's food from Merricks. I am trying Blue Buffalo currently and she does seem to love it. My question is this... she is now on Potassium Bromide for her seizures. I recall reading soemthing about high potassium in Blue Buffalo food. Does anyone know if this could be an issue? What are your thoughts on Blue Buffalo food? I want the best possible food for her, but I have to admit my mind is spinning from all the feedback and all of the brands available- it has me confused Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | The Wilderness line is the line that was recalled for Potassium issues. I also think some of the Basic's line was too... I used BB for Taycie for the first year of her life. When I tried to switch her to the adult fomuala's or anything really... I ended up with diaherra. Currently she is on and RX diet for a couple of different reasons. My thoughts have changed towards diet, and really knowing the company is the most important. For me I want something that has been tested, they have high quality control procedures in place and they have vetinarian nutrionisists on staff. And for me I trust a Board Certified Veterinary Nutrionisist any day over what I may read online.
