| Can an 8 month female be in heat without bleeding, and can she get pregnant? Can an 8 month female be in heat without bleeding, and can she get pregnant? Unfortunately I was dog sitting a female (8 months), there was no indication she was in heat, no bleeding or anything, out of nowhere my yorkie (also 8 months) started humping her and they locked. By the time I realized what was happening, I couldn't do anything . Now of course I am worried she might be pregnant, but they are both so young, and it was very brief.... OMG this sounds so teenaged . Anyway, I would appreciate any help, thanks. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | unfortunately YES, is called "SILENT HEAT" and it happens, boys mature in toy breeds about age 6 months and on, same with females, if she accepted him is almost a sure thing she is ready to accept a male, you can take her to the vet and explain what happen and have an emergency spay, that way is sure that you will not wind up with babies. hugs, |
