| Bye! Bye! Can puppy food? Ever since we bought Sunny home, I have been giving her can puppy food, the good kind, for morning breakfast, mixed with a bit of dry dog food. She gobbled it up. I was doing that mainly because i thought she needed the added nutrients, we got her at 6wks...i KNOW i KNOW......now though she seems meeeh to it. Hasn't eaten it the past two mornings. I have been wanting to stop it all together, so I guess basically she lead the way on this issue, just wondering why, all of the sudden. She eats no problem thru out the day, but the can food...eeeh, not so much. i did enjoy spoiling her with it...hehehehe. Bobbi

| 14wks....at this point I was giving her the can food to "spoil" her somewhat. She doesnt really need it. Its just kinda strange that she decided on her own....no more. Bobbi

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Did you try a different flavor of canned food? Taycie loves canned food. However they don't really need it. If she is doing fine with out it and is eating her dry food there really is no reason for it. However, I am like you. I like giving canned food mostly for spoiling reasons. I also like the added moisture content of it, but if I am not giving her canned food I will just add a few Tbsp. of warm water to her dry food. Right now she gets a couple of Tbsp mixed in with her dry food to make it easier to mix her meds in.
