| Male Yorkie after Neutering Hi. Anyone to offer advice? My baby Liberty was neutered early this afternoon and had one baby tooth pulled. He came through like a champ. He has pain medicine in him that will last until morning when he gets another dose. However, he is whining a lot and wants me to hold him 24-7. Should I indulge this or just ensure comfort and then let him whine? It seems so sad and is breaking my heart? |

YT 1000 Club Member | Glad to hear surgery was successful and your baby is home resting. You need to baby him and treat him extra special. When Romeo was neutered my two daughters and I took turns sleeping in the living room with him and we removed that ugly plastic cone. Instead I put some pants on him so he could not get to the site to lick/scratch. Took

| Yes, cuddling is the cure! My boy used to be nick named "the energizer bunny on steroids" cause he was soooo hyper. He never slept in our bed and still doesn't, but the day he came home from his neuter we curled up in bed, and he slept in the blankets with me while I did homework. Only time in the first year and a half of his life we ever napped together.
