| Raw. Hi everyone. I am considering feeding Poppy a raw diet. I really don't like the idea of touching them after they've eaten meat, as I'm vegetarian, but I've read so many benefits. My Staffy girl was raw fed, but she lost a lot of weight, so I fed her raw in the morning, and Orijen kibble in the evening. This seemed good, and she loved her chicken wings, but swallowed them whole. Poppy is so small that I can't even imagine feeding her a chicken wing! Don't they get covered in chicken goo? |

| Hi Amber, I just started my Rosie on raw yesterday so can't say yet how it will go but she loves it and I am confident that getting her off of kibble will be nothing but good for her. I am using this Natural Instinct - Home because honestly I am just afraid of the whole bone thing. I have seen lots videos on you tube of little dogs eating them and they do fine. You should go and watch some. Natural instinct has really good ingredients and to me seems to be the best I could find in the UK. To start off with I think this is a good food that balances everything out for me and keeps me getting elbow deep in everything so to speak. She loves the taste and eats it right up. I am going to add some meaty beef ribs I think to give her the chewing that will help clean her teeth until I am more confident in things like chicken bones. As for swallowing the wings whole, I have read that the bone in meals you feed should be as big as the dogs head so they can't just swallow it. So for say a Yorkie maybe a chicken leg while a bigger dog should have a leg quarter or breast. Best of luck!

| I also feed my yorkie natures variety raw. She gets 4 medallions a day and loves it. I was considering prey model raw but the thought of feeding her raw chicken and such grossed me out. I know she's gonna get raw chicken "juice" all over her and I worry about her passing bacteria to my kids and me. she loves natures variety raw. I don't feed her any kibble anymore. she is 7 months old and a very healthy girl. |

| Thank you. My Staffy girl used to have this food- Real, Raw, Organic Dog Food Supplier - Useful links I loved the company and the food is very high quality, but I have been considering the Natural Instinct because I like the look of the food, and also that it's in re sealable tubs!
