| At the risk of sounding stupid. I don't understand the dog food review sites at all Ok so this 6* food ingredients list starts out with: Chicken Meal, Potatoes, Chicken Fat (Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Chicken, Natural Chicken Flavor, Tomato Pomace, Choline Chloride, Dried Chicory Root, Kelp, Carrots, Peas, Apples, Tomatoes, Blueberries, Spinach, Dried Skim Milk, Cranberry Powder, Rosemary Extract, Parsley Flake, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Green Tea Extract, Barley Grass Extract, L-Carnitine, Enterococcus Faecieum, Lactobacillus Casei, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Saccharomyces Cerevesiae Fermentation Solubles, Dried Aspergillus Oryzae Fermentation Extract, Vitamin E Supplement, Iron Proteinate, Zinc Proteinate, Copper Proteinate, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Potassium Iodide, Thiamine Mononitrate, Manganese Proteinate, Manganous Oxide, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin A Supplement, Biotin, Calcium Pantothenate, Manganese Sulfate, Sodium Selenite, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Riboflavin, Vitamin D Supplement ,Folic Acid. I thought meal was bad? I also thought the first like three ingredients needed to be meat ? I want to feed my Jenks the best food available to me but it is all just a bit confusing. |

When reading any of these sources, consider who writes them. Are they people who have studied animal nutrition? The ingredients list on a pet food bag don't tell the whole story. Consider who manufacturers the food and who develops the recipe. Has the food been tested and proved to provide optimum nutrition?

| It was this one Dog Food Reviews - 6 Star Premium Dry Food - Powered by ReviewPost I want to find a really good dry food that I can also get the same brand of wet food so I can mix a little wet in with the dry because Jenks does not like just dry food he likes the crunch but prefers wet food so I wanted to mix a little of both. |
