YT Addict | Anyone heard of this food plz - Taste of The Wild Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone has heard of Taste Of The Wild dog food. Thinking of changing my babys diet and I'm looking for a better food. I went to the web site and read a few reviews, also they carry it at my local feed store and I usually have to go over 30 miles to buy food for Gizmo. Please let me know what you think. Thank you Cynthia

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | There are several people who feed TOTW. I tried it for mine. They loved it and Scarlett did well, but Rhett got diarrhea from it. Before you buy it, if you look in the diet and health thread you will see a link to companies that give free samples. TOTW is one. If I remember correctly, it only took a couple of days to get it and they sent samples of 3 varieties.

| I was very pleased with TOTW (lamb formula -- Sierra Mountain). It is a Diamond product just so you are aware. Some are uncomfortable as Diamond had issues in the past. But most that I see are really pleased with the food. I never had any complaints!

| I have been using the lamb formula of totw and I am very pleased with it. I have two dogs on it and both have very shiny coats, great weight, no gas and nice firm stools. I also, have my cats on the totw for cats. |

| Princess loved it-but she got sick and has an r/x diet now. I remember when I asked for samples they sent 48 oz. worth which I thought was great. They're also moderately priced, if Princess could we'd be back on it in a heartbeat.

| I'm not personally familiar with that brand but I know many people speak highly of it. It's a high quality food and if your girls do well on it, it'd be worth the drive or perhaps you could have it shipped. I know a lot of companies offer discounts if you have a repeat order. |

| my two love the TOTW Pacific Stream (salmon). Gulliver is a little hoover and will eat anything that doesn't run fast enough to get away from him but Soph us UBER picky. TOTW is the first kibble I've found that she really likes and will eat well. I split their diet between the TOTW free fed and Stella and Chewy's Beef RAW. I do the kibble a half ration free fed and fix the S & C for breakfast with some green beans and some coconut chips. Knock wood but they have both done so well on that combo. Soph even put on a half pound over the past year which she really needed to gain. The price is pretty reasonable on the TOTW which is also nice. Last edited by My Sophia; 09-13-2011 at 07:09 PM. | Ziva eats TOTW Pacific Stream by default- The big dog eats it and I was tired of buying two foods. She is shiny and soo healthy, but better yet the big dog is doing better than ever, never any runs or throwing up, beautiful coat, and NO more smell! I think the limited ingredients, no grains and the probiotics and digestive enzymes are the reason.I buy it online and get a 30 lb bag for a great price! I had some questions and their customer service was great!! |

| My Biewer, Dori, has thrived on TOTW Pacific Stream after giving up on Wellness Core. Firm poops, bright eyes and coat, eager eater and happy mom!

| Bailey loves totw... She has been eating it since she got off puppy food! Loves it! And it's great because if she gets bored with one flavor, you can just switch it up because it's the same type of food and all. We have to stick Bailey to the buffalo one because she gets bad poopies from the other kinds But she stil loves totw! |
