| Time for Big Girl food Angel is almost a year old now and it is time to transition off puppy food. I live in a small town so options are limited but we do have a Nature's Pet. I have been feeding BBuffalo Small Breed Puppy Chicken and Oatmeal and she has done well on it. So I went to the BB site and they show a "new" Wilderness Small Breed Chicken. Has anyone tried this yet? Thoughts anyone?

| Saw the bright pink bag at Petsmart today and you're right it is new. I know, from the experience with Wilderness regular chicken, that Gizmo got bad gas. However, since it's such a high protein food, I was feeding him too much. But I'd try it if your baby had done well one blue. If it doesn't work I know they have a satifcation guarentee and you can return it for the Small Breed Chicken and Oatmeal Dog, not puppy, formula.

| Sasha has been eating Blue Buffalo's Wilderness formulas for almost 3 years now and has never had an issue. She eats the chicken, duck and salmon varieties without any issues. I saw that they came out with the Small Breed formula but Sasha has always preferred bigger pieces of kibbles instead of smaller pieces so I never switched. I do rotate flavors after every bag though so she doesn't become fussy. |
